Keirean rubs his face, exhaling slowly. He's aware the noble faction gets up to things he despises. He nips that kind of thing in the bud in the emperor's faction but his power doesn't extend as far as he wishes it did.

Kamukura is an adult, but barely. How long he's been used Keirean doesn't want to guess.]

[hesitant. expecting rejection for sure. he knows he's dirty, even though Keirean didn't believe it way back when. but the years have only stained him further and further.]

[...he rolls onto his back and sits up, not quite willing to make eye contact.]

[He sighs and reaches out, putting a hand on top of Kamukura's head. Pat pat.]

[The rest of the night probably passes without further passionate embrace. And in the morning Keirean gets up and dressed as quietly as possible.]

[Yeah Kamukura is gonna stay out cold. He needs the rest, physically and emotionally. But he seems less feverish, at least.

He definitely looks more like that boy when he's sleeping, though, with the short hair and his eyes closed.]

[By the time Kamukura wakes up Keirean will be making breakfast. It's not that he hasn't noticed some familiarity but... that child is dead. It's probably just dreaming of Jeremia that has him seeing ghosts.]
