[It's hard to say "but a lot of young people look up to me as a hero or knights wish to join me because they admire me" without sounding.... well. [Is it creepy though? Yeah the age difference is a thing but among nobles it's not really that big even with the gap. The bigger problem is.... they hardly know each other for one, and Keirean hasn't even considered anyone else since before he married his wife. Isn't sure he's ready to consider anyone even now.

[At the least he can let the poor young man know that liking someone isn't creepy, even if Keirean is truthfully puzzled about why.]
